The 47th Single from Prince was released in September 1984 and reached Number 8 on the U.K. singles chart. Written by Prince and Mike Scott it was released on Warner Bros records on 7 inch & 12 inch Single and spent 16 weeks on the chart. It peaked at Number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Chart.
